Carlton Camera Club

Please Note - At our first meeting on Monday 6th Sept. Mr. John Devlin has kindly agreed to give us feedback on our photographs. Keith 'volunteered' to liaise with Mr Devlin so if you want to submit up to 4 photographs please copy them to a memory stick and either pass to Keith at the Smiths Arms (Friday 20th Aug.) or to Steve at Carlton Post Office by the same date.

We are a small photography club in the village of Carlton and meet fortnightly in the Smiths Arms, Carlton.

The club was formed by a group of people who all enjoy taking and viewing photographs. While some of our members are very experienced photographers the majority are taking their first steps in the hobby. Equipment varies from 'point & shoot' to 'digital SLR' cameras.

Most of our work is with digital images and we use laptop computers to download, print and manipulate images using image software. (Links to some of the software we use can be found on our Links page).

Using imaging software is new to most of us so we are all taking our first steps together.

We hope to cover all photography subjects and we set themes for our regular meetings where members can view how others have interpreted the subject.

We arrange photographic field trips where we can all learn new skills and hopefully take some memorable pictures.
